2022 Call for Proposals to the ALT-2040 Fund Program (includes the Open Education Resources grant program)
The ALT-2040 Fund supports program development, curriculum transformations, student experience enhancement and educational resource development that accelerates the curricular vision expressed in Outlook 2040. Selection of funded projects is guided by the transformative learning strategies of UBC’s Strategic Plan and the academic program priorities articulated in Outlook 2040, UBC Okanagan’s Declaration of Truth and Reconciliation Commitments and UBC’s commitments to anti-racism initiatives.
All projects must transform UBCO students’ learning experience in a meaningful way, focusing on implementation consistent with the funding stream. Preference is given to projects that align with one or more of the 2022 ALT-2040 Priority Focus Areas.
This year, we merged the Open Educational Resources grant program, which piloted in the 2020 academic year, into the ALT-2040 Fund Program, creating three streams:
- Open Educational Resources (OER) focus stream. Proposals due November 22, 2021, 3:00 pm.
- Program and learning experience enhancement stream. Proposals due November 22, 2021, 3:00 pm
- Program development and transformation stream. Letter of Intent due October 4, 2021*, 3:00 pm.
Proposals due November 22, 2021, 3:00 pm
