The cross-campus working group on student evaluations of teaching is hosting an open forum on Tuesday, November 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and Friday, November 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in EME 4218.

Expanding support for humanities research
UBC has established Public Humanities Hubs (PHH) on each campus to support collaborative research among humanists. The PHH initiative was developed to complement existing research cluster competitions and provide support fitting the nature of collaboration within the humanities.

Gino DiLabio named Dean pro tem for the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences
Dr. DiLabio came to UBC from the National Institute of Nanotechnology (NINT), a joint institute of the National Research Council of Canada and the University of Alberta. At NINT/UofA, DiLabio worked as a senior scientist and as an associate director and held an adjunct professor appointment in the department of physics.
