Through funding program development, curriculum transformations, student experience enhancements and educational resource development, the ALT-2040 fund supports academic program priorities articulated in Shaping UBC’s Next Century, Outlook 2040, the Indigenous Strategic Plan, UBC Okanagan’s Truth and Reconciliation Commitments, Strategic Equity and Anti-Racism (StEAR) Framework and Climate Emergency Task Force Report.

An information session for the ALT-2040 Fund 2024 call for proposals was held on Tuesday, January 30, to provide an opportunity for interested faculty to learn more and ask questions about the ALT-2040 Fund and its funding streams.
